STORY SO FAR Lee Carter has dragged dad Mick down into the gaping financial hole that he dug for himself. Mick helped Lee climb out of it, but now he’s counting the cost – and the cost just keeps rising.

Add to that the absence of wife Linda, the steady hand at the helm of The Queen Vic but who’s away looking after her ailing mum, plus the meddling of awful Aunt Babe, and what Mick has right now is a very quickly sinking ship…

After the recent disaster, the remaining residents will want to drown their sorrows. But we think it’s going to take more than them, or another chaotic theme night, to keep the Carter clan afloat.
