Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to step into Bal Thackeray’s shoes for his biopic, titled Thackeray. While we have already seen the teaser of the movie, the film is yet to be shot. If you have seen the teaser, you will agree that it is fantastic and Nawaz has picked up Thackeray’s look, style, nuances and a lot of other things. But he is still learning the way Balasaheb Thackeray used to speak. In fact, Nawazuddin has never spoken Marathi on the big screen and for playing Thackeray, who used to give hard hitting speeches in the language, the actor is working doubly hard for the movie. So he is not only undergoing vocal training, but also learning Marathi from scratch.
Nawazuddin is training with Marathi tutor Aashish Pathode since the past few days and looks like he has already made a considerable progress. To know more details about how Nawaz is training, how long it will take him to get it correct and much more, we got in touch with Aashish and here’s what he had to say!
