How was it fitting into the whole big SHIVAAY dimension?

For me, it was simple, I knew I was signing a film with Ajay Devgn and hoping that, while people would flock to the theatres to see him, catch a glimpse of me as well! At the end of the day, all I wanted was acceptance and perhaps more work… I don’t know how much of that I have received…

It was a very different debut but that’s my whole deal... I don’t want to be a star, what I need to be is an actor. That’s my calling. I don’t know how to be starry, and I am not comfortable with that either. I know that I am a hard worker.

But when you do a film that’s so big budget and grand, you cannot help but get a little starry, I would think!

No, at all, SHIVAAY was the most chilled out experience. Ajay sir is the last one to get all high-handed. He is someone who never really yells. Even when things are getting out of hand, like the light is going or something, he was always calm and composed.

How much did you learn from having him and Kajol around for your first movie?
