A peek into lutherie workshops around the world.

- Christian Lloyd

My Space

Weesp is a scenic town, ten miles south-east of Amsterdam, with a vibrant community of professional and amateur musicians. This is the third version of my workshop, which was first constructed while I was living in Parma, Italy, studying under Renato Scrollavezza. Most of the workbenches are built from material I salvaged from an abandoned building project there. When I moved to Amsterdam in 2007, the entire workshop was loaded into a van and transported lock, stock and barrel to the Netherlands. Six years later, it all moved again when I relocated to Weesp
