Sindhi Tapestry is Saaz Aggarwal’s new offering about Sindhis, and consists of sixty short and beautiful pieces of writing supplemented by evocative photographs, some rare and archival. Of the sixty contributors, some are well-known academics, poets, writers and journalists; quite a few are celebrities. Many, however, are not writers in their daily lives, and they too have written fascinating first-person accounts for this book, evocative diary pieces that penetrate various facets of that fast-evolving entity, the Sindhi identity! Many of them grew up in countries around the world, and they take us into their lands to show us how they blended and grew and retained their Sindhi identity too.

The collection is an absolute treasure of short pieces of writing filled with joy and meaning, telling important stories some of which you will recognize and relate to, but many of which you would be hearing for the first time and will surely strike chords of different kinds with you.
