Against all odds, the stars of Netflix's The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On become a reality TV success story

REALITY DOESN'T BITE

We're incredibly happy with the way things turned out, says Madlyn.

Colby Kissinger and Madlyn Ballatori credit the Netflix reality series The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On with helping them fast-track their relationship. The pair, who met when they were students at Texas A&M University, wed on the season finale and welcomed their first child, a daughter, in early May. And they have no plans to slow down anytime soon Colby, 27, is already pushing for their child to have a sibling. “He wants to have another baby immediately,” says Madlyn, 25. Adds Colby: “I'd like to give it six months, and I'd love to have a baby boy next.” Here, the couple talk to In Touch's Natalie Posner about parenthood, where things stand with their former castmates and striking while the iron is hot.

What's the rush to expand your family?

CK: My sister and I are only 11 months apart, and our relationship is great. We hang out together and have close friends and always saw eye-to-eye growing up. I'd like our kids to be able to relate to each other.

MB: We're going to see how it goes.

Have you guys had a lot of experience with babies?

CK: My sister's baby just turned 1. I basically helped raise her for the first six months, so yes. I don't mind changing diapers at all.

MB: I'm lucky that Colby is so hands-on.

Do you think you'll go back to the partying life when the baby is a bit older?

CK: She's itching to get back to it.

MB: No I'm not! (Laughs] I would love to go out and enjoy a nice drink.
