THE MATRIX (1999-NOW)

Arguably the most iconic sci-fi films in history, Keanu Reeves (John Wick in the John Wick action films, 2014-now) plays Neo, a computer programmer by day who meets Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne, Pops in sitcom Black-ish, 2014-now) and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss, Jeri in action show Iron First, 2017-2018) who reveal that machines have taken over the world and people can enter “The Matrix”, a digital world where anything is possible as mankind wages war against the robots. Neo is told that he is “the one”, who will fulfil the prophecy and save the world, but it will take a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and tears before he believes it. Plus, there’s also Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving, Lord Elrond in the Hobbit franchise – read below), the machines’ cruel and powerful representative who wants nothing more than to destroy mankind.
