Esther’s meddling mom Mary sets her up on a date too soon after her break-up with soccer star Makwande.

Social media and tabloid blogs are buzzing after learning that celeb it-couple Esther and Makwande (Didintle Khunou and Anga Makubalo) have called it quits due to cheating allegations. “Esther is deeply bruised! She didn’t see this betrayal coming,” says Didintle. Their housemate Millicent (Natasha Thahane) leaked snaps of herself naked in bed with soccer star Makwande – but it’s only half a story, says Didintle. “Makwande was asleep when Millicent snuck into his bed and took the pictures. Millicent has always been jealous of Esther and she wanted to destroy Esther’s romance with Makwande,” adds the actress.

Millicent’s malicious plan works and “instead of clearing his name – because he is innocent – Makwande admits to the false claims. He’s been waiting for an excuse to end his relationship with Esther as he is hiding his potentially terminal heart condition from her,” says Didintle. Esther’s gangster adoptive mom Mary (Nthati Moshesh) isn’t letting her daughter stay single for long – she’s already got a list of eligible bachelors to introduce to her newly single popstar daughter.
