Shria’s (Kajal Maharaj) life right now is a big whirlwind of emo-tion, betrayal and disbelief after learning that baddie Sunil Maharaj (Jack Devnarain) is her biological dad. Not only is this truth proving to be disastrous to her personal life, but her professional life as well.

As co-owner of Maluju Oil, Shria is supposed to make decisions to help the company grow. But with everything that been going on, she makes a huge mistake. “Shria unknowingly makes an unsound business decision that puts her at jeopardy. She doesn’t know that the deal she thought was amazing was actually orchestrated by Sunil to cripple her to a point where she has no option but to run to him for help,” says Kajal.

A GOLDEN CHANCE

After being taken to task for putting Maluju at risk, a formal hearing is set up to interrogate Shria about her actions and motivations. This proves to be the opportunity the other Maluju players were waiting for – a chance to have Shria kicked out of the company. “Shria has lost credibility and this gives her enemies a leg up. This represents a golden chance for the others like Makhosazana (Nokulunga Kunene) to take her spot. Head honcho Nkululeko (Nkanyiso Mchunu) basks in Shria’s supposed incompetence,” says the actress.
