Linsey Godfrey Sets The Record Straight About Her B&B Future

Soap Opera Digest: The last time we saw Caroline was at a Halloween party in 2016. What is your current status on B&B?

Linsey Godfrey: It’s with a heavy heart that I say Caroline isn’t coming back in the near future. I really enjoyed my time over at BOLD, and I’m so grateful for the opportunities that being on the show gave me, and for the family that I made over there. They will always be my family.

Digest: Is there a chance Caroline could return someday?

Godfrey: I know that she’s alive and well, but as far as any of that, I really don’t know. I mean, obviously, anything’s possible with soaps, and I’m always hopeful and excited. I love being there and I love the cast and I love the crew. I’m such a huge fan of BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, and I’m a huge fan of working there, so I’m always open to any possibility of Caroline returning.

Digest: Would you be open to doing another soap?

Godfrey: Of course! I love the genre. I think it’s really great. I don’t think people give it enough credit. If anybody sat and just watched what these actors and actresses do every single day, it’s nothing short of incredible. I think it’s acting boot camp for a reason, you know?

Digest: Are you actively auditioning for other projects?
