Sidharth Malhotra continues to shine on in Bollywood as one of its sexiest. Read on as the former SOTY alum talks to Ahad Sanwari about his goals in the industry, his year ahead with Marjaavaan and Jabariya Jodi, and ‘dating’ Kiara Advani.

You’ve been in the industry for five and a half years at this point. Do you think you still have anything left to achieve?

Oh yeah, a lot. The beauty of our profession is that it never gets old or it never gets boring. With every Friday comes a new challenge and expectations. I’ve been trying to meet that, I’ve spent all five and a half years trying different roles and exploring myself as an actor. I have an amazing year coming up with two different films, Jabariya Jodi and Marjaavaan. So 34 sounds very exciting to me (laughs).

The past couple of years, the films you’ve been doing have gotten pretty good reviews but aren’t hitting the box office the way you’d expect them to. Are you expecting your fortunes to turn around with your two new releases this year?
