It was the second edition of the poster of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and co-produced by Rajkumar Hirani that came out sometime in December but the weirdest thing was that it had come out with Rajkumar Hirani’s name conspicuously absent. In fact, that’s what fuelled the entire buzz – was it a typo or an obvious omission… the media questioned, the film fraternity wondered… Well, the truth behind the omission was so shocking that it left everyone gasping in shock…

Incidentally, they called him the gentleman director mostly because of his humble and an almost self-depreciating demeanour. With a career spanning a few decades, this man has seen many stupendous successes. In fact, everything he touched turned to gold. Until… a catastrophic turn of recent events cast aspersions on his character and tarred his hitherto squeaky clean reputation. …It was indeed ‘breaking news’ and every media house had the same headline ‘Rajkumar Hirani Accused of Sexual Abuse’ in big, bold sized fonts.
