You’re half Sri Lankan, half Malaysian – your dad’s from Sri Lanka, mum from Malaysia. You were born in Sri Lanka and you studied in Bahrain, what made you come to Bollywood?

I actually never thought I’d be a Bollywood actor. It was not something that I had really planned for. But the opportunity just presented itself and I followed my heart. A modelling assignment resulted in me being discovered after which I was offered a Hindi film
