However, she’s adding yet another string to her rather impressive bow: a fashion collection with none other than River Island. We caught up with the presenter and all-round wonder woman to talk wedding plans, holiday tans, TV’s top talent and what really makes her feel confident...

Hey Caroline, You’re having a pretty good few months with your BAFTA win, engagement and new River Island collection. What’s your favourite piece from the range?

Thank you! It’s all been a bit crazy but I’m loving it. The collection is made of 19 pieces you need to pack on your holiday, so it’s a capsule edit. For me, it’s all about the pink kimono. I’m actually very self-conscious, especially on the first day of a holiday, so it’s good to throw on over a bikini.

Who was the inspiration behind it?

There are pieces I designed with friends in mind but mainly, I just thought about what I’d like to wear on holiday. No one wants to squeeze into a tight dress when it’s hot – you just get sweaty – so I focused on loose silhouettes that flash a bit of skin so you still feel sexy.

Was it important to you to make your collection for all women?

No body shape is the same. A lot of the fashion industry focuses on models that are virtually the same size, but that’s not real life. Everyone is different so it was important to me to include pieces for every body type. I’ve got big boobs and often clothes are made for smaller boobs so I wanted to address this.
