WEDDING BELLS FOR ACTRESS CRESSIDA BONAS THE CLOSE FRIEND OF THE YOUNG ROYAL SET ANNOUNCES ENGAGEMENT

Actress Cressida Bonas, a former girlfriend of Prince Harry, is to marry property professional Harry Wentworth- Stanley, the younger son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven, Clare Mountbatten.

The groom-to-be announced the news by posting a picture on Instagram of the couple on holiday in Nantucket, Massachusetts with the caption: “We getting married.”

In the photo, Cressida can be seen wearing her vintage-style engagement ring – designed by her jeweler friend Bear Brooksbank, k whose cousin Jack is married to Princess Eugenie. The gold ring features a central diamond d surrounded by two circles of smaller rubies and diamonds.

The style – known as a target ring – was created in the Edwardian d era and became one of the most popular designs of the 1920s.

“The target ring is a very beautiful, classic, tried-and-tested design, which is a crowd-pleaser, but it’s also interesting,” said Bear. “For men [choosing] it on their own, it’s an unusual but safe choice, so you’re not just freestyling.”
