We find ourselves in a zombie apocalypse in Orchard Road and live to tell the tale.

The next time you’re at Orchard Central and tire of shopping, take a break and… battle pirates and the undead. Tucked in the labyrinthine mall is the two-weekold Sandbox VR. The Hongkong-based company’s first VR gaming outlet in Singapore spans about 2,000 sq ft. We know, killing zombies ain’t something you do every day, so here’s a step-by-step guide for you.
STEP 1
Find friends. Sorry, guys, this VR escape room experience isn’t for loners. Gather a team of two to six players who have an hour to spare (while gameplay lasts about 30 minutes, there’s a pre-game briefing and a postmortem that are 15 minutes each). Don’t worry if your teammates’ only gaming experience is Candy Crush, or if no one’s ever gone to NS. You still can emerge unscathed.
STEP 2
