Presented last year at SITEVI, the annual international equipment exhibition for wine, olive and fruit and vegetable production hosted in Montpellier, France, the Combi-Grape is a new sorting system available only on the Braud 8030L compact grape harvester. This system offers an intermediate harvest quality between a standard destemmer and the Opti-Grape that was launched in 2013.
According to New Holland, owner, and manufacturer of Braud equipment, the Combi-Grape has been developed to meet the needs of winemakers looking for a destemming and sorting system of premium-red varietals.
In a statement, New Holland says that since 2002, all its Braud grape harvesters can be fitted with a destemmer, a feature that has undergone continual improvements over the past two decades, and which is now able to process every grape variety in every part of the world.
