THANKS TO A PICTURE We had a common group of friends in secondary school with whom we both hung out, but it was nine years after being in each other’s company before we actually spoke. And that only happened because Calvin had snapped a nice picture of me and I started pestering him for it. Calvin adds: “It was the best shot I’ve ever taken!”
CHRISTMAS EVE IN TOKYO “I proposed on Christmas Eve in one of Tokyo’s picturesque alleyways. We’d fallen in love with these passages on an earlier trip. I couldn’t have picked a better spot at which to ask Eileen to marry me,” says Calvin.
