Truckfest Peterborough celebrates its 35th anniversary this year and to celebrate, the event is bigger than ever with new features and star names.
Thirty-five years ago, on a snowy, windswept day at Newark Show ground, trucks rolled into the first Truck fest. The organisers would have little suspected then that it would go on to become one of the largest truck festivals on the calendar.
Today, Truck fest Peterborough provides an array of entertainment for truck fans old and young, while celebrating the best of the road haulage industry.
Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, the East of England Show ground will again host Truck fest Peterborough, and there will be a host of attractions for fans. For instance, star names such as TV’s Ice Road Truckers stars Lisa Kelly and Todd Dewey and Jesse McClure from Storage Hunters will be appearing over the two days.
