Most car drivers think of motorcyclists as organ donors orin possession of an all-consuming death wish. It’s not a positive association for motorcyclists and it makes them reluctant to be helpful to or respectful of you in traffic. And the fact that you’re slicing through the jam and making time while they’re stuck listening to a RJ who won’t play the music cannot be easy to deal with either. But as riders, we often do idiotics things - some non-obvious - that make their impression of us worse. And as usual, there’s a better way.
