57% Of Carmakers Not Stripping Parts From Scrappage Victims

More than half of the car manufacturers operating in the UK are not recycling parts from cars they receive in scrappage deals before they scrap them.

A CCW investigation has revealed that of the 23 UK car brands offering scrappage schemes who responded, only ten said that they were stripping parts from cars to any extent, prior to scrapping.
