With its motorsport-honed plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Valhalla ushers in a new generation of Aston Martin supercars
PLUGGED-IN V8
The Valhalla’s plug-in hybrid powertrain comprises a mid-mounted, flat-plane 4,0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8, delivering 522 kW to the rear axle via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Supplementing the AMG-sourced internal combustion engine, a pair of electric motors producing 150 kW are sited on the fore and aft axles. The combined outputs are 699 kW and 1 000 N.m. Aston Martin claims a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 2,5 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h.
