Small and inconspicuous but already famous, this fountain recently installed in the port of Ancona shows how to approach the landscape with modesty and subtlety. Above all, it is important to avoid the kind of pathos that arises when gazing at the sea: the sum of all thoughts already thought plus all lovers’ sighs. The fountain has two roomy benches.
