This is our 36th issue, and although this is not traditionally seen as a major milestone, it holds its own significance in the tapestry of our journey as it marks three years of Adventure Afrika. Thus far it has been a journey of ups and downs, but mostly one of growth.

As we reach issue 36, we find ourselves in a position where we can reflect on the achievements and experiences that have shaped us. This year especially was a big year for us, and we were honoured to be invited to three international launches of amazing vehicles: the Ineos Grenadier in Scotland, the Ford Ranger Raptor in Namibia, and – most recently – to the launch of this month‘s cover star, the Jimny five-door, in Botswana.

In addition, we have been fortunate enough to attend numerous introductions of new vehicles within the borders of South Africa, visit some of the most spectacular places imaginable and meet many truly inspiring people. As we continue to live our own adventure, this is a time to take a moment to acknowledge the professional milestones, the personal triumphs, the lessons learned, and the relationships forged along the way. It’s an opportunity to take stock of our journey so far and appreciate the resilience that has brought us to this point. Our team might be small, but our hearts and dreams are big!
