The August 2023 issue of STAT Times focuses on air cargo e-bookings, Airport cargo community systems and the Indian airfreight market.
The Cover Story by Zinal Dedhia narrows down on the electronic booking happening in the global air cargo market and the transformations they are bringing to the industry. As she puts it, “The need for change is clearer than ever.”
The Special Report on Airport Community Systems by Libin Chacko Kurian not only talks about how they make airports more efficient, sustainable and secure but also how airports overcame the hesitation to share data.
The issue has a Country Report on India by Jyothi Shankaran who tried answering the question, “With over 3 million tonnes of cargo handled across Indian airports, will the govt target of 10 million tonnes by 2030 be reached sooner?”
Shankaran also speaks to Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport who pointed out that cargo operations are being looked at very holistically to ensure state-of-the-art processes from Day 1.
