This edition carried Cover Story "The Killer Fever" described that how Swine flu in Hyderabad became an increasing threat to Telugu states. As ten people dead with H1N1 virus (Swine flu) infection and hundreds of people joined in various hospitals, many including some doctors see a potential threat to both states. In coming weeks the number may increase faster as roughly 20 lakh people visited are coming back from their native places during this festival season. The Story includes columns from Doctors about what is swine flu and how to combat.
English Cover Story "Betting on America" is about American President Obama's India Visit. The Story deeply discusses the impact of his visit on key sectors Defense. Obama's exclusive interview also includes.
Another story from Andhra Pradesh is "Unstoppable Animal sports" In spite of Supreme Court imposed ban on Cockfights and Jallikattu, traditional animal sports continued this year also. These sports are part of Sankranti/Pongal festival were organized as usual. Around Rs.150 crores changed the hands in Cock fights.
