The content of FSAI Journal is vetted and approved by the Editorial Board, constituted by FSAI. It therefore provides latest, updated and authentic information on new products and technologies. In short, FSAI Journal is aimed at becoming a knowledge-sharing platform for the professionals from fire safety and security industry.

The theme for May-June Issue of the journal is – Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things –The Applications and Solutions in Fire and Security. Considering the increased usage of AI & IoT in our day to day lives and also the fact that these are relatively new concepts, this issue has tried to present some of the usages of these innovative technologies. The issue contains articles on IBMS & IoT in Smart Cities, in Security & also detailed article on AI by Pankaj Tiwari, Ravinder Pal Singh & Kunal Bhogal respectively. This issue also carries a detailed analysis on the recent fire incident that occurred at Surat wherein lives of many students were lost. We have been fortunate enough to get an interview with Mr. M. F. Dastoor, Director – Gujarat State Fire Prevention Services where he shares his views on various aspects. There are also articles on Fire Detection and Alarm System and FDA System Installation by Sekhar Dey and Arvind Rastogi, respectively. Besides, this issue covers the various activities of FSAI Chapters across the country; Fire Safety Practice as well as a Quiz.
