The ‘big announcement’ in September was undoubtedly the National Logistics Policy, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled on his birthday. In an interesting turn of events, while he released two cheetahs at the Kuno National Park in MP in the morning, in the evening his hook statement said “We want the cargo to move at the speed of a Cheetah.” This month’s Cover Story talks about what the National Logistics Policy is & aims to do, and presents the industry leaders’ point of view on it.
