Also fishing on the White Springs complex was Paul White from Cardiff, Wales. The 28-year-old also managed to sink his teeth into the A-Team, when he landed a fish known as Boyo at 36lb (right), along with a 22¼lb mirror. Over the top of a small scattering of 10mm Mainline Cell bottom baits, he offered a matching 15mm pop-up on a Ronnie rig, tied from 20lb Korda N-Trap along with a size 4 Kurv Shank hook. Paul positioned his winning rig off the tip of an island at just nine wraps, dispatched with a 3oz lead and a small PVA bag of 10mm Cell boilies.
