FROM THE PUBLISHERS Welcome to our Spring 2020 issue of Autostrada, This is the time of the year where days start to get longer, tempertures slowly rise and “car season” starts to appear on the horizon. Over the winter months we had the opportunity to connect with several of our friends and readers at our second annual Autostrada Christmas Toy Drive. Over $5,000 and two truckloads of toys were raised to benefit families through the Starlight Children’s Foundation. We are so fortunate to have the support of so many generous people in our automotive community. Our cover feature for this issue is motorsport legend Alex Zanardi. We have followed Alex’s inspirational journey and were thrilled to have the opportunity to share his passion in our magazine. After an accident in Germany took both his legs in 2001, Alex returned to racing full time in 2004 with the help of hand controls. Alex also channelled his spirit into the sport of hand cycling and won a gold medal in the Paralympic Games in London in 2012, he is a true champion in every way. As this issue of the magazine hits to press we are gearing up for the 2020 Canadian International Auto Show. We are fortunate to have 14 iconic vehicles in our booth this year including the Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Miura, Porsche 959, Shelby Cobra and several others. An overwhelming thank you to the owners for trusting us to showcase these special pieces of automotive history. We are looking forward to connecting with our readers at the unique Autostrada events we have planned for the Spring. Thank you all so much for your continued support and encouragement!
