Not surprisingly the April edition of Bahrain This Month looks somewhat different from normal. The regular section of dining news has been replaced with a selection of traditional Ramadan recipes for readers to recreate at home in light of the Coronavirus restrictions.
The interviews section welcomes two newcomers to the island: Egyptian Ambassador, HE Yasser Shaban, and hotel GM Marie-Berengere Chapoton. There’s also a chat with Alharith Alatawi, co-founder and Chief Operations Officer at Skiplino, the queue-skipping app.
April means it’s time for the annual Britain in Bahrain supplement with interviews and news from across the Kingdom’s British sector including HE Roddy Drummond, British Ambassador, and Khalid Zayani of the Bahrain British Business Forum.
There is also the regular entertainment and technology sections, where readers can find plenty to keep themselves occupied during social isolation.
