KIS International School in Reignwood Park outside Bangkok offers aspiring young golf talents a path to pursue their dreams.
-
One of the bugbears of bringing up children in Singapore with the potential of sport excellence is how to navigate their education pathways along their athletic ones. Golf clubs here offer junior programmes, but when it comes to dovetailing structured golf instruction with the need to reach educational milestones on the way to university, there is hardly any avenue these hopeful teenagers can take.
That is why a school like KIS International in Reignwood Park, just outside Bangkok, Thailand can be such an attractive proposition. As an adjunct campus from the well-established KIS International in the Thai capital itself, KIS International Reignwood Park offers the full continuum of International Baccalaureate (IB) education, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP).
“Our internationally recognised programmes provide a rigorous, inquiry-based education from early childhood through to graduation, preparing students for university study and future careers worldwide,” says Matthew Hayter, Marketing and Admission Director at KIS Reignwood.
“The student body at KIS Reignwood Park is intentionally diverse and internationally minded,” Hayter adds. “Approximately half of students are Thai nationals, with the remaining half representing a wide range of nationalities, including Chinese, American, British, South Korean, Japanese, Burmese, New Zealander, German, Indian, Malaysian, Spanish, Laotian, Norwegian, and Australian. The mission of KIS International School Reignwood Park is to deliver a challenging and dynamic international education that inspires students to become knowledgeable, skilled, and principled individuals.”
