What's the Ultimate "Go Anywhere, Do Anything' Watch?
GQ India
|April - May 2026
We asked a handful of watch pros the same question: If you could wear only one timepiece for the rest of your life, which would it be?
-
THE SAME WAY you wouldn't plan a heist without first assembling the right crew, most watch guys would be loath to go through life without a lineup of distinct wristwear for every possible situation: the elegant dress number, the vibrant vacation watch, the rugged adventure piece, the one that's a master of disguise.
And yet, at the same time, there's nothing watch geeks love talking about more than the idea of a GADA watch—as in “go anywhere, do anything”—the daily driver or beater piece that's built for all occasions, able to seamlessly slide from a Champagne-and-caviar soiree to a deep-sea scuba dive. So I asked six serious collectors and dealers to share the watch they'd keep if they could own only one.ZOE ABELSON, Founder, Graal: PATEK PHILIPPE AQUANAUT 5065A

Can I Use AI, Get Away With It, and Not Lose My Soul?
It’s here: artificial intelligence that’s good enough to do...something. Real humans tell GQ how they're quietly using AI to launch get-rich-quick schemes, build virtual secretaries, cheat at their jobs (to make time for their art), cheat at their art (to make more money), and soothe the anxiety caused by AI itself.
