Executives say automation, predictive analytics and new capabilities are turning finance functions into strategic hubs for transformation

AS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, automation and data-led decision-making reshape businesses across sectors, finance leaders are being pushed to rethink the structure and purpose of the modern finance office.

The traditional compliance-driven role is steadily giving way to a broader mandate involving analytics, operational strategy, technology integration and business transformation. But in the current context, we have been talking about data, sustainability and now AI. How is the new finance office going to look five or ten years down the line?” he asked.
