Shoplifting mums stole £5,000 of sunglasses

TWO mothers who stole more than £5,000 worth of sunglasses from a department store have been spared jail after a judge said she was taking their children into account.

Lindsey Jordan, 40, and Paula Richardson, 35, both pleaded guilty to three counts of theft after returning to John Lewis at the Trafford Centre on three days between April and May this year and stealing the eyewear.
