A DRUG dealer who seriously injured himself after trying to flee from police and later sparked an armed response to a hospital has now been jailed.
Ahad Hussain, of West Street, Rochdale, was involved in a police pursuit on Tweedale Street in the town, on October 11, last year. Officers said the chase began after the 25-year-old displayed ‘erratic’ driving and failed to stop for officers.
The chase ended after Hussain smashed into a Mercedes 4x4. He was rushed to Fairfield General Hospital, in Bury, with serious injuries which were not life-threatening.
