Bellingham may have been the star of the show but Henderson was the perfect sidekick in midfield alongside the Borussia Dortmund man.
As well as his goal, Henderson offered energy and experience and some incisive passing throughout.
It was another performance from the 32-year-old which validated boss Gareth Southgate’s decision to play him.
Henderson is now a key player for the Three Lions again, despite some criticism about his selection.
