BANKERS and estate agents saw the biggest drop in wages in the past year.
The average banker witnessed their pay drop by &pound;97 per week - a whopping &pound;5,044 a year.
Estate agents were &pound;18 a week worse off - &pound;936 a year.
Builders were the big winners, earning &pound;23 more a week followed by shop workers and computer staff.
Builder Gregg Thorn, 44, of Chesham, Bucks, said: "I've not got a shred of sympathy for bankers or estate agents. You won't be finding me crying into my beer at them getting less money.
"Bankers get paid enough anyway and the least said about estate agents the better."
A spokesman for CMC Markets, which did the research, said: "We analysed data from the Office for National Statistics and found that workers in the financial sector had seen the largest drop in average wages in the past year."
