Quitongo has taken former club Airdrie and director Paul Hetherington to the tribunal over allegations of racial discrimination.
The 22-year-old said he was racially abused by a fan during a game last year.
The club dropped an investigation due to "insufficient evidence".
In a meeting with officials, including Hetherington, Quitongo said he was told it was felt the incident did not happen.
Asked how that felt, he told the tribunal: "It made me feel I was trying to be manipulated in joining him in saying it didn't happen."
The tribunal continues.
