RUSSIA has lost a third of the ground forces it sent to Ukraine, British intelligence revealed yesterday.
Estimates put the death toll at over 15,000 with thousands more wounded thanks to tough Ukrainian resistance.
And Vladimir Putin's forces are unlikely to make much progress in the next month, the Ministry of Defence said.
