NEIGHBOURS has been rescued just four months after Channel 5 axed it and will return to TV next year.
Amazon has stepped in to revive the much-loved soap following an outcry at its demise in July after a run of 37 years.
The Australian show, which kick-started the careers of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Margot Robbie and Guy Pearce, will go into production within months.
It will bring back favourites including Stefan Dennis as Paul Robinson, Alan Fletcher as Karl Kennedy, Ryan Moloney as Toadfish Rebecchi and Jackie Woodburne as Susan Kennedy.
