During his absence, Jess, 53, updated Peter's fans about his condition, after several expressed concern about him being "missing" from their screens. She shared a photo on Instagram of a smiling Peter propped up in bed recovering.
Jess wrote the accompanying caption, "Many of you have been missing 'Petee' from your TV screens these past couple of weeks and have asked me where he is!" She added he's been "getting lots of TLC" Followers quickly wished Peter a "speedy recovery".
This isn't the first time Jess has supported her husband of 20 years through a health issue.
In 2015, Peter had emergency spinal surgery for a ruptured disc.
