The saying, 'if it's not Boeing, I'm not going' used to be synonymous with air travel. However, travellers might be thinking twice about boarding a Boeing aircraft after a slew of horrific accidents.

Piercing screams and blood spatter in the plane cabin sound like the makings of a horror movie. But that's exactly what passengers on LATAM Airlines Flight 800 experienced on March 11. Flying from Sydney to Auckland, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner reportedly experienced a technical problem that caused the plane to suddenly lose altitude over the Tasman Sea.
