BACKLASH ISN’T DETERRING THE PRINCE
Harry's ROUGH DAY IN COURT!

The Duke of Sussex’s time in the British High Court last week was meant to be a triumphant takedown of the London press he claims ruined his life. Instead, during a historic cross-examination lasting one-and-a-half days, Prince Harry was put through the wringer.

His case against Mirror Group Newspapers for alleged phone hacking began with a stinging rebuke, after Harry failed to attend the trial’s first day in person – citing his daughter Princess Lilibet’s second birthday as the reason for his lateness. Justice Fancourt, who is hearing the case, announced he was “a little surprised” by Harry’s absence, while the Mirror Group’s lawyer accused the duke of “wasting time”.

It was just the beginning of a bad day for Harry, who made history as the first royal since King Edward VII in 1891 to face questioning in His Majesty’s court.
