King Charles’ reign may still be in its infancy, but given he is the oldest monarch ever to ascend the British throne, many are already anticipating what will happen when his heir, the Prince of Wales, takes over. And sadly for Charles’ consort, Queen Camilla, it’s not looking good!
New Idea’s royal insiders have revealed that if the King, 74, dies before his wife, she will be at her stepson’s mercy.
“Camilla is not stupid. She knows if she becomes a widow all bets are off when it comes to the incoming king, William,” the source explains. “He can strip her of her title entirely and cut her off when Charles is no longer around to protect her.”
