We’re used to seeing her glammed up to the nines as she presents Strictly Come Dancing and with her model looks it’s hard to imagine that Tess Daly, 54, feels any sense of self doubt. But according to the star, she notices her flaws as much as the next person.
Speaking candidly, the mum-of-two explained, ‘I’ve got wrinkles galore. You know when you look down at your iPhone and the camera is open and you go: “Oh, my God!” I’m at that point. But what’s the alternative? I’ve got to be grateful for a healthy life and a long career that I still love. Life is challenging enough as it is. There’s no point beating yourself up. Just get on with it and be grateful, that’s my attitude.’
Model diets
Tess has been married to fellow presenter Vernon Kay, 49, since 2003 and the couple share teenage daughters Phoebe, 18, and Amber, 13. For Tess, it seems that keeping healthy for her family is everything. The presenter revealed that her time working as a model when she was younger meant she heard a lot of different opinions about diet, but she’s managed to keep her own routine simple.
