It’s been a season of strong characters appearing on our screens, and if there’s an actor who’s consistently showing up, it’s largely because of the diverse cinematic landscape that she’s traipsing. Chola-dynasty princess in Mani Ratnam’s historical magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan: 1 and 2 to Delhi’s most-preferred wedding planner in Made In Heaven, Sobhita Dhulipala has been doing some heavy lifting lately. This month, she finds time between acting assignments and playing fashion’s hot favourite muse to jet off with the Grazia team to the picturesque locales of Chunda Shikar Oudi in Udaipur for a cover shoot. Somewhere between boat rides and open top jeep drives, the 31-year-old talks to us about the headspace she’s presently in.
GRAZIA: Made In Heaven 2 is still a conversation, two months after release. What were the highs and lows that you faced?
SOBHITA DHULIPALA: Luckily for me, I don’t dwell on either when it comes to bygone experiences. I only remember how I am grateful for what I’ve been given in this life, and make sure to commit deeply to the moment and the process while it happens.
