GRAZIA: Tell us a bit about your S/S 2024 collection – any new silhouettes, fabrics, or techniques? AMRITA AND GURSI:

Handwoven linen, cotton, kantha details, a play of stripes and checks, embossed floral embroidery, silk organza, and taffeta silk shape up the silhouettes, which evoke instant desirability. For the first time, you will also discover a vibrant and shinier look to the brand as we have introduced a beautiful silk, which is again handwoven. You will also notice a new jewellery edit, which is an extension of the existing ‘Circle of Light’ jewellery collection. Our jewellery line is handcrafted in Jaipur. The critical high point is the newly introduced laser cut suiting, which spotlights their concerted efforts towards bringing artisan-driven yet modern and minimal designs to the forefront. Moreover, the collection trains focus on monotones with a hint of colours like pinks, yellows, blues, greens, and browns morphed into unexpected shapes and whimsical silhouettes. Handwoven in the finest fabrics, each garment brings a sense of joy and optimism to the makers and the ones wearing them.

G: How heavily are you inspired by art and culture? How does this translate into your design process?
