Irisha Poonawalla, an ecopreneur and jewellery designer, started her diverse journey from the vibrant colonial home at which she spent her formative years, influenced by an adventurous father and a Nizami family aunt. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, a Master’s in Media & Journalism, and a PhD in Communications Sciences, she has fulfilled her childhood dreams that encompassed everything from fashion design to archaeology. “I realised that it would bring me joy to never limit my identity to just one career,” Irisha states. She owns a sustainable design label, teaches Latin dance and competes for India, and contributes features in the lifestyle, food, and travel domains to many publications
