KEEPING UP A CHRISTMAS TRADITION

On the evening of November 8th the Princess of Wales stepped out with her family at Westminster Abbey for Together at Christmas, her third annual holiday carol concert. The Princess started the tradition in 2021 and it is still going strong. Other Royals in attendance included the Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Eugenie.

The service is supported by The Royal Foundation and aims to build on Catherine’s ‘Shaping Us,’ an initiative focused on securing the well-being of younger people in society. The focus on new life is very much in the Christmas spirit; as nativity plays unfold up and down the country, with thousands of Jesuses being born in school halls. With new life in mind, the Princess urged a focus on protecting and nurturing children s worlds in their first years.

Of course the London venue, decked out in Christmas trees, wreaths and other holiday decor for the festive evening, also had a very special meaning for the Royal - it’s where she wed Prince William in April 2011.

Catherine looked lovely as always at the event in a cream jumper paired with wide-leg Holland Cooper trousers and a stunning bespoke coat from Catherine Walker as she arrived at the venue.

The Royal accessorised with a white handbag from Strathberry and dangling earrings from Van Cleef and Arpels, plus nude pumps. She wore her thick brunette locks in loose curls as they cascaded down her shoulders.

She glowed as she smiled on the way into the Abbey, and her smile widened even further as she greeted some very famous faces who had joined her to celebrate the occasion - including esteemed actress Sheila Hancock, radio presenter Roman Kemp and his mother Shirley, and former American Idol winner Adam Lambert.
